I live Denver and am a hockey fan, so the team i see most is the Avalanche. This is cool with me, they play good hockey, have some great talent and plenty of character to the team. The drawback is, i have supported the Redwings for as long as i have watched hockey, granted for the most part this has been from afar, since i only recently moved to the US from England. That's the way it is however. I don't despise the Av's like a good 'wing should, i enjoy the rivalry but appreciate good hockey. I would be pretty happy with the Av's losing the western conference final every year!

With a bit of luck and co-operation i will be able to bring some pretty cool coverage of Hockey, NHL and the Av's. With this i want to throw in my opinions and such and it would be cool to get a load of feedback from whoever may read this down the line.

So far this season i have managed to get to a few games and watched many more on TV, The Av's seem pretty good once they get going and despite a few concerns must be pretty happy with their start.

Power play seems unorganised
defensive injuries
goaltending uncertainty


I dont want to be the guy who disses stuff for the sake of it so i will be trying to expand on stuff as it goes, for now i have to get ready for tonights game Vs the Oilers.
