Conference finals

So finally i can post a prediction before the event, a novelty. I still manage to get them wrong even with the benefit of a heads up.

Pittsburgh to beat Philadelphia in 5, They will have too much, each game will be close but the cream will come through, by that i mean Malkin.

Detroit will beat Dallas in a scrap, probably 6 games but if they get off to a quick start then who knows, the key game will be 3, first game back at Dallas.

I dont have much more to add and no one reads this anyway, not yet at least so i may just ramble for my own benefit.
Detroit will have way too much for Turco to handle, the guy is an excellent goalie, no doubt, but i think the onslaught will be too much, especially if Franzen stays hot. It will be interesting to see where Maltby slots back in, Helm has been effective, Hudler seems to be getting his confidence, an interesting decision for Mr Babcock.
Alternatively Maltby could play in place of Filppula who may well be injured.
